Orthoceras Pendant .925 Sterling Silver

For sale we have a very nice sample of an Orthoceras fossil, a relative to the Ammonite. It is in its natural black host rock with a super nice and distinct, almost chatoyant, fossilized body. This natural fossil has been cut down and polished into a very elongated semi domed cabochon. It was then hand wrapped with a custom design in .925 Sterling Silver to create the beautiful hand done piece you see in the picture.

Not only will you get a phenomenal sample of an orthoceras fossil, but you will also get a piece of jewelry that is hand done and that you would be hard pressed to find another one like it! So, do not miss out on this great opportunity.

This one took a long time to wrap too! Since the orthoceras is actually slightly curved, I had to work the silver wire to fit the curve to properly hold it in place. Not to mention it was just alot of wrapping overall. Very clean wrap, even from the backside as well! Also a very heavy duty wrap.

Care Instructions:
Wash in warm water with a mild hand soap and an old soft toothbrush.
