Next we have another hand wrapped piece. This one is done in Mexican Silver,
which is actually a type of nickel alloy and contains no actual silver, but
looks just like silver. It is a Keokuk Geode quarter with the internal crystals
intact. The geode itself has been spray lacquered to give it a nice gloss/polish
as well as to help stabilize the piece and to make those internal crystals
sparkle and shine.
This is another very unusual piece and something that you will not see very
often at all! Another tough wrap as well! Took forever to get it right, lol. But
it is in there nice and securely, and stylishly as well IMHO.
Care Instructions:
Wash in warm water with a mild hand soap and an old soft toothbrush.
